ASU chip burnt

Hi ALL,

can any one help me why my ASU chip get burnt during the testing...pls see the picture.

Dear ALL,

Iam facing again and again the same problem i wrote above.its a 3rd time my ASU card get burnt for 3 times same chip gets burn.

i would be glad if any one can give the reason for this.

WOW, 3-ASU is fed by 3-ftcu fed by chas7. Not knowing what role the chip places in the scenario kind of makes it hard to find a cause. It's also connected to the 3-cpu. Ground faults on the system? bad 485 cards can wreak havoc on other cabs without affecting the actual cab they're in.

I cannot see the photo but the way that any card is burn is by ground fault,
I remeber one time,the transformer get ground and all the instrument card next to it was burn;not only fire system.
