Does anyone know if there is a NEC or NFPA reference for being able to install FPLR in non metalic raceway? For some reason i remeber it being a no no to install plastic wiremold for fire alarm anywhere? Have a situation where it is being done now. I also thought it was a no no to do it on a ceiling?
Anyone have insight to means and methods for yeah ir nah on the plastic pathway?

I assume it is a new install
you can put fire wire in plastic wiremold
in many cases I will ask the inspector/subcode official If I have a question
painting the ceiling black is common with new businesses.
we asked the subcode official, he said if the manufacturers cut sheet said it is ok not a problem
the cut sheet actually said it was not ok.
these wire codes are almost always in NEC code book
