Hi,

I am planning on studying and going for my fire permit exam. Do you have an updated list of study material? Also if I am currently only going for Fire, do I need to take the Burglar Alarm and Electronic Security System tests as well or just the Fire and the Business and Law test?

Thank you

for NJ correct?
if so, You can just do the fire license and the business and law test
The state employees that you will need to deal with are painful. no fun
there is only a few places in nfpa70 that you need to know, become familiar with those sections.
Find the 72 edition that the test is using and buy the handbook (the handbook is a hard cover and also has sections that explain the code)
read it front to back two to three times.

business and law test - buy the book, read it, most pass the first time, use the index.

Yes, New Jersey
How would I know which places on NFPA70 I need to know?
I am pretty good at book knowledge, would the test be that hard? Are there trick questions (on the EMT test there were tons of those)
Can you elaborate please what I need to interact with the state employees? Who would know what version the test is off of?

Thank you

According to PSI, there are three tests you need to take for fire.
Fire
Business and Law
and Electronic Security Systems.

They are testing off of NFPA 72 2010. I had ordered this book already http://psionlinestore.com/nfpa-72-natio ... code-2010/ which is not the handbook. Will me getting the handbook help that much more that it is worth it for me to get it?

Do you have any idea on which section of NFPA 70 I need to know?

Thank you
