Hello,

I understand that Siga series detectors do not need to be externally tested via sensitivity testing equipment and the sensitivity information can be obtained via the 2-LCD or by printing the information off. I just don't know exactly how to interpret the information to place on a sensitivity test result sheet. There is usually a minimum and a maximum threshold on any detector and it has to be inside that range. How do I know thf minimum, the maximum, and the current value that these detectors are displaying so that I can put that on a inspection report sheet that makes sense to Fire Marshal? Any help with this would be great!! Thanks!!

Sensitivity range is listed on the back of the detector head and the catalog sheet. Refer to the catalog sheet and the system programming to determine the set sensitivity value. i.e. Most Sensitive: 1.0%/ft.; More Sensitive: 2.0%/ft.; Normal: 2.5%/ft.; Less Sensitive: 3.0%/ft.; Least Sensitive: 3.5%/ft.
