I HAVE THE READER CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM WITH GE READER PRM5 EV1 SF2F . I AM CONNECTING THIS READER TO PX-2000 THROUGH A JUNCTION BOX. IT IS NOT READING ANY MIFARE CARD AND GIVES A TRIPLE BEEP AT START UP. SHOULD I UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE OF PX-2000 CONNECTIN THIS READER OR THERE IS ANOTHER WAY TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. KINDLY REPLY ME IT'S URGENT.

The protocol for this reader is not F2F it is wiegand, if you are using a J-box the t-500 are using F2F.
So to get these reader to work with a px-2000 panel you will need a Wiegand to F2F converter also known as a HID interface.
