Map Fault

Post by ahmed_nas »

sometimes when i read a SIGA loop the it starts to map and falls down a lot of times, and in the end it settles as a map fault.

I tried to swap the IN with The OUT loop cables but the problem persists.

What can i do i cant fix the problem.

Thanks

Check thoroughly each of your device installation or your base. One of your device is faulty. First check your isolator bases, the connection of in and out negative. Then your sounder bases if you have in the loop, if not then procced to the heat detectors, maybe one of it is in internal trbl. Make sure your loop return for th loop is 15 volts and above. If it will go below the 15 volts, then one of your standard base is the problem.

Can somebody explain exactly how the diagnostics current chain and device response chain works? I just don't get it when troubleshooting map faults.
