how can i know my downloading port of my laptop? I'm using visita and sdu 3.7?

Hi,
1. click right click on "My Computer" icon and select "Manage".
2. on the computer Management window select "Device Manager"
3. at the right side find "Ports (COM & LPT) and open it
4. you will see list of serial devices installed on you PC with the port number.
PS.
as i remember the SDU support only ports 1 and 2

Hi mikbz,
the SDU support not only ports1 adn 2,you can set or select the port by using SDU.
open the sdu,click 'options',then click 'custmize','confugration',you can see the port choice,select the port which you need.

hi,
Most laptops use com1 for the serial, however, newer ones that donot have serial will use a USB serial in which the port will then most likely be com3.
