I've got a GROUND FAULT on my system.
Any suggestions on how to approach this.

So far, from what i've read, i'll have to systematically break down the circuit in halves to zero in on the fault location.
Is there any other way to approach this, or if you have any expertise to share, please do.
Really appreciate this, Thanks.

you got it
cut the circuit halves until you find it

a few other thoughts
when checking for the ground with your meter also left the circuit.
checking ohms with other voltages on the wire not good
is it a hard ground - under 1k ohms ground and not swinging
if your meter does not show a ground it maybe on the device side of a module
ex: CC1 the horn side of the wire, CT1 tamper

if it is a EST3 panel there is a map use it
the only thing mapping is good for

one more thing
if you are looking for this ground for more then a hour.
pad and pencil is your friend.
draw the circuit out
did I check that, with that device OK, you will be going in circles
