Computer not connecting to panel
NFS2-3030 NFS2-640 has both USB and NUP to load panel

check if USB is bad:
connect PC's USB to Panel, when you do this your PC will make a sound just as if you were plugin a mouse in and out
you can also look at "device manager" tree open and close
- no sound USB DEAD

check USB to serial cable:
plug the serial cable in and out, looking for the same sound

type "RESET" for the password in between tries.
it will slow you down, but if not you will not know if you got it or not

"Control-alt-del" task manager -> check if NFNgateway is running

Serial cable: check transmit LED on cable.

Also, if anything is wired into CRT terminal block (TB12 just left of NUP port). Press the enter key, 1 for programming, when prompted for the password enter "NOCRT" then enter. When done with programming, Don't forget to re-enable the CRT port by repeating the steps above using "CRT96" as the password. The EIA-CRT port and NUP port share a connection with the CPU. Both cannot be active at the same time. Ask how long it took to figure that out over the phone with Tech Support....
