Notifier VeriFire crash after office 2016 upgrade

Has anyone had an issue with Verifire crashing after an office upgrade?

I get the error NTSFramework.PL has stopped working,
I verified on each device that we ran the upgrade the crash happens after they select Local network, whether plugged in or not.
event viewer shows an unhandled exception and also shows fault with MSWSOCK.dll

I fresh installed one system and everything is working again, but uninstalling office did not work,
reinstalling older office versions did not work,
I am hoping for a solution other than clean installing each system since our guys run more than just Verifire tools from their computers.
Any input would be helpful.

Both programs use Microsoft access. Only fix I can think of is what you have already done . Notifier tech support will tell you to do the same . I just went through a verifier tools gateway crash . The first vision software did not play well with vft 10.0 . Ended up uninstalling both programs and got my 9.1 back up and running .
