hello,
There is a "maintenance alert" in in one of zone of ZB16- we cleaned all the detector connected to this zone still the "maintenance alert" message is displayed, I remove the smoke detector wire from zone then install the eol-resistor, restarted the control panel, after a few minutes, the "maintenance alert" returned

Is this a sign of defective ZB16 card?

thanks

it is most likely not the ZB16 that is giving you the maintenance alert
the maintenance alert is coming from the SLC loop its one of the siga smokes
run reports on ALL your SLC loops/SDDC cards, 20% and 80%

Had the maintenance alert a few times on different panels that came from the ZB16 card.
It would happen during verifications where your putting a panel/circuit through things it would
normally not be doing.
Never really tried to figure out why it happened, maybe high impedance on the circuit, just my guess.
A piece of programming code that was never fully implemented or documented, but still exist.
I have never replaced a board because of this, just powered it down for a minute and it was fine after that.
