QS-Panel Password Levels

Post by Leo »

The QuickStart has 4 Levels of Passwords.

The default password for each level are: 1=1111 2=2222 3=3333 4=4444, the highest level is 4
The barrel Key on the front of the panel will log you into level 2
Level 2 will be able to disable/enable/activate devices
Level 3 can be change via the QS-CU program, If the default lvl 3 password has been changed, you will need to know it to load or retreive the panels database. without it you will be locked out of the panel for programming

If the lvl3 password has been changed and you do not know it, you can reset the panel (blank it out, you will lose all the database) with the Code Loader.
So you will need to rewrite the database/program, but you will not need to replace to panel.

To load the QS panel you need to be login in with a level 2 or higher. the front barrel key logs you in with a level 2 login.

Leo, will the EST QuickStart Codeloader nuclear option for clearing out non-default passwords work with a Mirtone QuickStart. If not, was there a Mirtone CodeLoader?
