a few thoughts
if rs232 try hyperterminal, short pins 2 and 3 see if it echos
UBS, one ver of FS-tools would not work, i needed to load newest ver.
I had a few different problems when I had the charger plugin, ran on batteries worked.
i need to close verifire tools via task manager, runs on startup
USB most likely drivers causing problem, good luck

Is anyone having problems connecting to a firelite or silent knight panel using windows 10. I just purchase a new laptop and can't connect to either panels, spoke to Firelite tech support and it was useless, they know less than me
