FIREWORKS COMMUNICATION ISSUE

When i try to connect the fireworks pc with EST3 Panel, am getting Ground fault and communication is not established. But when i connect my laptop its working fine. Any suggestions please.

broke the ground lug off the pc's power cord

Thanks i have tried but still remains same. once i connect the communication cable from pc to RS232 Card even with out powering the pc . i am getting ground fault.

There’s a small DIOD or suppressor diod between the ground of the communication and the earth take it out with solder or heat gun but check which one by using a multimeter
