I have installed Fireworks 1.5, Port 2 is configure Gateway with 4800 baud rate that is connected to COM1 (WINRT) at PC terminal; Also i tried to configure Port 2 as GatewayIII connected to COM1.
In both cases Communications Failure is the result, but all the events are being displayed on fireworks, but i can't control the panel from fireworks ( Alarm Silence, Panel Silence, Reset).....

Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi,
The first check that yours computer COM port settings is compatible to the EST port settings.
The second I am highly recommend change COM port settings to the "Gateway Type III / 19.2K" and verify that yours user have relevant permissions. (see attached my EST port configuration
