FireWorks - History Reports TIPS

Post by Leo »

First you will need to pick the right file to run (Active or Archived file)
Look at the (Current Selected History) for the Date you need.

Archived History Files:
Drag open (File Name) so you can see the date of the archived files.
At 10,000 rows the system will archive the Active History to a Archived file with the date.
These files are stored in C:\fireworks\archive\history
Make a folder called Old History ie: C:\fireworks\archive\history\Old History
Move all the old archive files there ( don't delete the files )

Sort the file by ID to ensure the time is right

Save:
Once you hit save to save as a file it may take a minute or two to export the whole file (wait)
The file will open in EXCEL but the Seconds will not display right, so to fix:
Right Click Date time column -> Format cell -> Custom -> find m/d/yyyy h:m (high light it)
Under TYPE add :ss to the end. ie: m/d/yyyy h:m:ss
