fireworks not communicating with NEW CPU-3

I have a trouble on fireworks that it is not online and on EST3 Aux port 1 not communicating. The EST3 was an OLD cpu,(First generation) which crapped out and I changed it to a New CPU-3. I used the cards, I checked the old program for to see if there was anything I should reconfigure.
Since then, I can not clear the trouble. I used this site and ran everyone ideas about this issue with a Aux Port 1 trouble. I metered everything out, cheched the USB to serial port wires.
Now, the Program is not an UL computer, EST will not help. The Fireworks software is Ver. 1.71( yes, I know it is behind) the system was forgotten about for YEARS and screws was installed into the sounders to stop them from sounding. A real Crap SHow.
Does this has to a New CPU and an old Version of Fireworks.
SO..... What is your best guess in this issue
