Fixed it. I had to restart the Command Server. I don't know why it wasn't responding to requests, but the system now works.

Trouble getting a pushbutton to run a CMD

Post by Ndemarco »

I have two pushbuttons wired to IN9 and IN10 on a N1000-IV panel with 8.07+ firmware. The buttons are N.O. I can see them being pressed on the Control Map.

I have two command files on the Command Server. I can run the two command files and see the action happen (pulse each of two outputs). What I can't get to work is tying the input to execute the command files.

I've tried Input Active, Input Normal. I've tried the Always On and Always Off and .Always timezones. Nothing is working. I've even read the PW1000 and WinPak manuals plus consulted the online help.

This has got to be simple: How do I get an input to trigger a CMD?
