2 Major Issues Winpak Pro International 4 (Build 492)

Post by dylanfree »

Hello all!
New to the forum, so any help you can give me with this emergency issue is appreciated!

Our main server crashed and I managed to get it back online - however our software (after 3 years running perfectly) went into Demo mode.
Now I cannot add/delete users, etc. which is a huge problem as we have a wealth of new starters! Also, we cannot afford to buy an entire new set of software....
Is there a way to delete the license key and re-enter our original key? I have looked everywhere in the registry and cannot find anything!

Also, our SQL server was corrupted and I restored the WINPAK database to it -
Now card reads are not showing up and all of our Door Controllers are greyed out and the actual readers/doors are marked with question marks reading Output or Entrance Unknown?
I am concerned we are simply running off of what is stored in the door controllers/readers....

Does anyone have any insight into these issues?

I truly appreciate any help you can provide me here.

Cheers!

you will need to register the program to get it out of demo mode
You will need the user key located on the CD's case. ie. Key 1234-56-7890-123

Thanks for the reply!
Unfortunately the register option is greyed out, as well, so I cannot obtain a license key or even enter one!
My CD key has already been entered, but since I had to reinstall it is now showing the program is a demo now.

Any ideas?

you need to register the software and if you are unable to do that you will need to call on alarm company that works with WP

** copied from other post **
Install the CD
Login = admin password = (blank)
** You will need Internet Access or you will need to License it over the phone **
License: help -> HoneyWell access sytems -> Registration
A web browser will open to : https://www.honeywellaccess.com/ss/index.html
Look for Resources bottom center of page
click: Register products Online
You will need the user key located on the CD's case. ie. Key 1234-56-7890-123

Once licensed use the quick-Start wizard
Quick Start-Wizard, will not work in XP
Install disk is a CD not a DVD

The only problem I have had with installing WinPakPE is if the computer has ANY SQL software installed on it before I start.
