route them to nowhere if you aren't using FT or common trouble contacts for central station

I just upgraded a IRC3 to a IO500. The main problem was the inability to get the zone descriptions and the 4D map if the SLC loop is lifted only the first 15 point descriptions are display after that it is only numbers. Also I was unable to get the point number (zone) and the serial number together...

Anyone here have a clue how to use the reset pseudopoint to toggle a relay? It's in the help file (monitor point) but doesn't give an example. It's also not available in the correlation screen. how did you wire panel 6 to the network? It sounds like you removed the wiring for panel 2 when you connected panel 06. the network wires are probably mislabeled or the splice is incorrect. As AB posted, check your wiring.

Most likely you have a bad 2-MCM (or 2-lcx). Sometimes a bad device will cause an internal error. If you remove the data loop wire and download a test program with nothing in it and still see the error, you know for sure.

I was just at a customer that install a comcast router with 2 phone lines to replace the copper lines. the set was trying to dial out using pulse dialing and it would not work. want in and out of programming (V32FB) to reset the comm fail on the set so it would dial out DTMF. it looks like at least...

siga-sd's are the problem. Keep swapping the bad ones out, after 6 months or so you wont have any more problems. same with mapping fault and siga2-ps detectors.
