Re: firelite ms9200 sensitvity test
YOu can use ps-tools software to upload, or go into read status from the keypad and check the chamber value for each detector

Re: mircom fire panels
We rip them out any chance we get. Way too many proprietary hoops to jump through. Only one company in my area putting them in, always poor installation, cheaper and easier to upgrade to another product.

Re: EST 2 network downloading
I have never timed it, but i think the enable laptop stays on on for a good 10 minutes. Not sure how far you have to go. I would think hooking up a 2-lcd temporarily would work as well. Only one way to know for sure. I have never done a networked est2, can you not download all the nodes from one loc...

Re: Vigilant Systems
I have not had any similar experiences to compare with, but I will say the IO/VS series of panels seem to be much more stable than their previous genration counterparts. We have replaced many QS CPU's that seem to fail for no reason. Due to parts availability, It's become cheaper for us to replace t...

Re: Vigilant Systems
We have been using them for about a year now. Basically the same as the EST IO series. Much better than the quickstarts. The mid range system is the VM, which is a reconfigured EST-3x. Software is the same pretty much, but at least the got rid of archaic the rules editor. Correlations are done much ...

Re: Wattage of EOL Resistance
Rule of thumb is 1/4 watt for input modules/zones, 1/2 watt for NACS. Install sheet will indicate the "UL Listed" value to be used, but I have used either type for both situations with no problems.

Re: Io500 /annunciator connection issues
Firmware should not matter. Did you enable the annunciator in the IO-500 programming? Is there a trouble on the IO-500? If you only have a trouble at the RLCD, it is not enabled at the main panel. If you have a comm fault at both locations, its either wiring or setting the correct address on the dip...

Re: Disable Sounder Base output in rules with switch
I tried using the priorities as suggested, but my outputs are still activating. Is it the order I have the rules in? Please see below. {******************************ALOFT RULES****************************************************************} [ALOFT SMOKE ALARM] ALARM 'ALOFT_SMK*' :ON 'ALOFT_RM_SMK*...
