I'm not familiar with the 8500 (never heard of it actually) but you can tie a relay from the est to a zone on the 8500 to send an alarm signal. Unfortunately, it is allowed, but only if the equipment is UL listed for commercial fire use. Not all models are listed for this purpose, and many that are require special add on modules and power supplies to meet this requirement. Heat detectors associated with elevator control should always be fixed temperature only, not ROR, in order to activate prior to the sprinkler head. If mapping is enabled, just replace it and panel will reassign serial number automatically.

Check your firmware versions. Had these panels do wierd things if u loaded wrong version
