Unfortunately I do not have access to the HID key/ Dongle and am unable to use any software that is newer than 5.71

I've installed the version 5.71 linked; however, after a recent Windows update, the program fails to launch properly. Any suggestions for how I should go about fixing this? VeriFire Tools 5.71 fails to Launch Windows 10
I installed the version of VF Tools left in this chat group. I had no issues with the software until a recent Windows update. I'm running Windows 10 (64-bit) on a HP laptop. Anyone else having this issue?

You are unable to program an S3 with any software other than CAMWorks. The S3 has a complex series of strings that prevent any access to the software programming other than by an active CAMWorks programming with matching HID
